Meet the Team

Christoper Li

Christoper Li, MD, PhD

Vice President, Faculty Affairs and Diversity

Dr. Christopher Li serves as the Vice President of Faculty Affairs and Diversity. Li also conducts research into breast cancer epidemiology, early detection, recurrence and disparities in outcomes as a professor in the Public Health Sciences Division and is the holder of the Helen G. Edson Endowed Chair for Breast Cancer Research at Fred Hutch.

He is a research professor in the University of Washington Department of Epidemiology. Li is associate director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) for the Fred Hutch/University of Washington/Seattle Children's Cancer Consortium. The DEI leads Fred Hutch's efforts to increase the diversity among trainees, faculty and leadership across the Consortium to better reflect the diversity of our nation.

Christina Termini, MM, PhD

Assistant Professor, Translational Science and Therapeutics Division, Fred Hutch

Dr. Termini is an Assistant Professor in the Translational Science and Therapeutics Division at Fred Hutch and an Affiliate of the Human Biology Division. She leads a research laboratory focused on disentangling the fundamental mechanisms that underscore normal and malignant hematopoietic cell maintenance and regeneration. Dr. Termini has been involved with the Méndez Scholar Program since 2020, when she received the Eddie Méndez Scholar Award as a post-doctoral fellow. Soon after joining the faculty at Fred Hutch, Dr. Termini assumed the role of Co-Director of the Eddie Méndez Scholar Program. She looks forward to continuing to grow this program and mentoring the scholars as they pursue their career goals.
