Access to Care at Fred Hutch

If you or a loved one has recently been diagnosed with cancer, you are probably here to find out more about Fred Hutch and decide on the best place to receive treatment.

As you are thinking about your options, it is important to find out each center’s approach to cancer care. At Fred Hutch, we offer multidisciplinary care, which is found at only a few cancer care locations.

You do not need a referral from your physician to join one of our multidisciplinary programs, and anyone who has been diagnosed with cancer can have a consultation at Fred Hutch.

To help you get around, we have a free shuttle between our South Lake Union clinic and UW Medical Center - Montlake as well as shuttles to Pete Gross House and Behnke Family House (formerly South Lake Union House). Quality of Care Measures

Fred Hutch strives to continually improve the quality of the services we provide throughout all sites of care. We track and analyze our performance across a variety of measures, from infection rates to the timeliness and effectiveness of care. We collaborate often with fellow members of the Alliance of Dedicated Cancer Centers to develop effective quality measures, to benchmark performance and to do quality-improvement initiatives.
