There are more than 10 Fred Hutch clinic locations in the Puget Sound region. Our main clinic is located in the South Lake Union area of Seattle.
Yes. Some nursing positions that do not require hands-on patient care may be performed remotely.
Fred Hutch offers nurses a variety of flexible full- and part-time positions. Most of our nurses work eight- or 10-hour shifts or a combination of both. Nurses in some areas may also work weekends, evenings and/or holidays.

Yes. To be eligible, you must have a full-time equivalent (FTE) schedule of 50 percent or more and have completed one year of continuous service.

Most of our clinical departments have one or more professional practice coordinators who help onboard new nurses, provide department-specific education, participate in policy review and updates and champion continuous practice improvement.
Yes. Fred Hutch’s Nursing Education Department provides continuing education to clinical staff at all levels throughout the organization. A variety of educational programs are available, such as hypersensitivity management and telephone triage, designed to support nurses in growing their clinical practice.
Each department tailors their clinical orientation to meet the needs of the newly hired nurse. Department-based orientations are guided by one or more preceptors, and the length is based on department guidelines as well as the nurse’s experience level, clinical knowledge and existing nursing skills.
