Honoring Our Journeys: The Importance of Palliative Care and Narrative Medicine in Oncology (1.2 CEs)

Presenter: Susan Ra, RN, BA, MN Candidate

With the ever-evolving oncology landscape and the unique complexities that define the ways in which care is provided and experienced, it is becoming increasingly crucial every day to reflect upon how we can continue to work toward securing a greater quality of life for patients, their caregivers, and for all staff who devote their lives to oncology. This presentation will aim to highlight how palliative care and narrative medicine can help our workforce and all individuals across the cancer continuum to strive towards and actualize this goal.
