Managing AML in the Outpatient Setting

Donelle Rizzuto and Allison Miles will discuss new “acute myeloid leukemia” treatments available using 3 case studies. This will include newly diagnosed and relapsed AML, as well as newly diagnosed APL. They will discuss their approach to managing an AML patient in the outpatient setting regarding prophylaxis medications, transfusion support, and triggers for admission to the hospital.
