Dr. Ann Dahlberg is a clinical researcher who studies cord blood transplantation, a form of blood stem cell transplant. She also has an interest in strategies for preventing leukemia relapse after patients receive transplants. She runs clinical trials in cord blood transplantation. In addition to this research focus, she runs trials in supportive transplant care, including the treatment of infections and the prevention of transplant-associated complications. As a physician, she cares for children receiving blood stem cell transplants. She provides care early after transplant, and she runs a clinic at Seattle Children’s focused on longer-term post-transplant care for patients with leukemia.
