Dr. Teresa Hyun is a pathologist who specializes in the cellular biology of blood cancers and blood stem cell transplantation to treat those cancers. Her research involves understanding factors that affect prognosis and treatment response in cancers such as multiple myeloma and myeloid stem cell. She also studies transplant-related conditions such as graft-vs.-host disease, when immune cells from the donor attack the healthy tissues of the recipient.
