Dr. Viswam Nair translates fundamental scientific discoveries into the clinic to improve the care of people with lung cancer. His research focuses on biomarkers, or telltale biological markers of health or disease. He studies how to best integrate molecular and imaging-based biomarkers into clinical practice to improve lung cancer detection and treatment. Dr. Nair is also a physician with board certifications in internal medicine, pulmonary disease and critical care. He cares for patients at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and the University of Washington Medical Center.
