SEATTLE — June 24, 2020 — The King County Board of Health recently passed a resolution declaring racism a public health crisis. SCCA is committed to doing the work required to addressing institutional and systemic racism in health and cancer care. To visually represent that our dedication to defeating cancer is matched by our dedication to combating racism and inequity in health care, we recently placed a Black Lives Matter banner outside our South Lake Union clinic.
At SCCA, we support our Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC) neighbors, colleagues, patients, family and friends, and proudly stand in solidarity with them. Black Lives Matter.
