I’ve been a part of the Medical Nutrition Therapy team at Fred Hutch since 2015 and have been working in oncology since 2008. Currently, I see patients at Fred Hutch Cancer Center – Proton Therapy and Fred Hutch at UW Medical Center – Northwest.
Prior to coming to Fred Hutch, I worked in the intensive care unit and oncology unit in a Seattle hospital. I am trained to place nasoenteric feeding tubes and have been fortunate to travel the U.S. training dietitians and nurses in placing feeding tubes. I have 10 years of experience in education as an adjunct faculty member teaching graduate-level nutrition.
In my free time, I enjoy cooking, creating recipes and food photography.
Clinical Expertise
I work with patients undergoing radiation and chemotherapy for several types of cancers, including head and neck, gastrointestinal, breast and prostate.
Patient Care Philosophy
I am committed to helping my patients navigate the many side effects of treatment that impact their nutrition. I offer individualized care to every person I see, and my goal is to help patients with their nutrition during treatment, keeping in mind their personal preferences for food and nutrition.
