Gynecology

“My goal is to listen, get to know you and understand what is important to you as an individual. I believe that every patient should feel heard and understood.”

— Dr. Mihalov

What drives you as a clinician?

I want to honor people with gynecologic problems by giving them respectful attention, regardless of age, gender or condition. One of my primary interests as a gynecologist has been menopause and post-menopausal conditions, because these areas are frequently overlooked — or given minimal attention — yet can have a significant impact on a person’s life and well-being. Over the years, I have enjoyed working with many patients who have had cancer. In my experience, what they appreciated was honest, clear information, a compassionate attitude and referrals to specialists and institutions they can trust, and that’s the approach I bring to my practice at Fred Hutch.

What’s it like to work with you?

My patients have shared with me that I am warm, caring and empathetic. During our consultations, I want to help you understand the nature of your situation so that you can make the choices that are best for you personally. My goal is to listen, get to know you and understand what is important to you as an individual. I believe that every patient should feel heard and understood.
