SEATTLE — August 27, 2024 — Fred Hutch Cancer Center physicians, physician assistants and nurse practitioners – 83 in total – were recognized as the best in the region and named to Seattle Met Magazine’s annual list of Top Doctors.
This year’s featured clinicians represent 20 practice areas, including specialties in medical oncology, hematology, breast surgery, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, and gynecologic oncology.
“It is truly an honor to recognize our medical staff for their compassion and dedication, and to work alongside such outstanding individuals,” said Dr. Tom Purcell, vice president and chief medical officer. “Year after year, our reputation for providing leading-edge cancer care is made possible due to their compassionate care and collaboration. It is a privilege to be recognized by our peers for the work we do.”
This is the 19th year of Seattle Met’s “Top Doctors” list, which spotlights the best health practitioners in 80 practice areas across the greater Seattle area. Honorees are selected by their peers in the King, Snohomish, Kitsap and Pierce counties for elements including their years of experience, patient satisfaction and collaboration with colleagues. Over 1,000 clinicians are featured annually.
